Brief History of the Acupuncture Association of Australia
Introduction:
Dr Eddie Wong of the Taiwan Institute of Chinese Medicine brought acupuncture
to Australia in 1970.
The original members of this group (from memory) who studied acupuncture
with him were:
Arthur Wright, Alex Popov, Ron Fenton, Mervyn Judge, William Burns, Paul
Hoffmeister, Dean Rainer, Laurie Wadman, Brian Holt and Peter Derig whose
clinic at Double Bay was the venue for the teaching.
